UN Global Compact: She Matters presents its outcomes for 2019-21
We reaffirm our support to the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.
As a member of the UN Global Compact since October 2018, She Matters presents its outcomes for 2019-21. The Communication on Engagement describes our strategic approach and activities that support the Global Compact and engage with the initiative at the international, national, and local levels.
The SDGs are at the core of our Lotus Flower Programme, a career readiness programme for women with a refugee or forced migration background.
Our highlights for 2019-21 include:
- The successful completion of our Lotus Flower Programmes in partnership with private sector companies.
- A multi-marketed documentary by Arte, which showcased our work in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, France, and Germany.
- Our collaboration with our sister organisations – Refugee Pathways, Vrije Universiteit, Refugee Academy, and others.
We thank our team, partners, stakeholders, donors, and followers for their trust and support.
