Stichting She Matters is a registered Dutch foundation based in the Netherlands.

Executive Board

The Executive Board of She Matters Foundation is composed of Christina Moreno (Chairwoman), Nhi Phan (Secretary) and Bianca Matthee (Treasurer). Operational decisions are taken by two board members together, of which the Chairwoman is one. More information on the responsibilities of the board are stated in the Executive Board Charter.

Remuneration Policy
The members of the Executive Board receive no remuneration for their work with the exception of expenses, which will be reimbursed. Example of expenses include transportation costs, stamps, ink cartridges, paper and other costs in relation with the management function.

Advisory Board

She Matters Foundation has an Advisory Board that provides valuable support and advice to the Executive Board. Statutory information

Incorporation date: 11 August 2017, Articles of Association revised for ANBI on 20 July 2020

Statutory aim: Strengthening the position of female newcomers and migrants in the realisation of their human rights, and attempt to achieve gender equality, everything in the broadest sense of the word.

Foundation setup: Non-profit organisation

Source of income: Subsidies, donations, revenues from activities by inheritance, legacy or in any other way obtained.

Use of income: >90% of the statutory aim

Liquidity proceeds: Any liquidation proceeds are destined to be used for one or several good causes determined by the board members that share similar goals.

Remuneration Policy
Stichting She Matters operates on a volunteer basis for Executive Board members, with no remuneration provided. Advisory Board members also receive no remuneration for their work, except for pre-approved expenses such as transportation and materials related to their advisory roles.

Staff members are compensated fairly and transparently in alignment with our mission to support female refugees and migrants. The remuneration structure for staff positions will be based on market standards, job responsibilities, and the stichting’s financial capabilities. All compensation packages will be disclosed to ensure accountability and transparency.
