IMPORTANT NOTICE: Whatsapp and Telegram Scams
It's come to our attention that there is an ongoing issue with scam messages circulating on WhatsApp and Telegram. These fraudulent messages involve impersonation of recruiters and recruitment companies, including She Matters. The scammers behind these messages are promoting fake job advertisements and attempting to gather personal information from unsuspecting recipients.
Just like the deceptive emails or texts that mimic banks or mobile phone providers, these scammers are engaging in malicious activities to obtain your sensitive data and personal information.
We want to emphasise that She Matters and its legitimate representatives will never solicit personal information or engage in fraudulent recruitment practices through messaging platforms. We take the privacy and security of our applicants seriously, and we encourage you to exercise caution and remain vigilant to protect yourself from these scams.
If someone contacts you onWhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be from She Matters and it appears to be a phishing message or a scam, please block the number and/or reach out to the Dutch non-profit helpwanted.nl, they are able to help individuals who have experienced online abuse and can give advice.
You can find out more information on how to spot phishing messages and what action to take on the Business.gov.nl website, please see more information here.
Thank you for your attention. Stay safe.
Sincerely,
