She Matters' story

Having experienced life as a young single mother in poverty, Christina Moreno knows the barriers women face in the workforce. She founded She Matters to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, creating pathways for women to thrive. What began as a response to high unemployment among women with a refugee background in the Netherlands has grown into a movement for gender equity in the workforce.

Over time, we’ve gained valuable insights—empowering women doesn’t just change lives; it transforms businesses, strengthens communities, and fuels economic growth.
